VENDOR ROUTING & APPOINTMENT PROCEDURE

Goody's REQUIRES each vendor to follow these 'specific' appointment procedures.

WHO IS INVOLVED: ALL shipments of 125 pounds or more REQUIRE an appointment #. To obtain an appointment #, the vendor MUST follow these SPECIFIC instructions! This includes ALL Shipments: EDI orders, manual orders, LTL shipments, Truckload shipments, shipments to the consolidator, etc.


* NEW * Purchase Order "Ship Date" and "Cancel Date"

All Purchase Orders have a "Ship Date" and a "Cancel Date" defined as the following:

Ship Date:  Purchase Order must be shipped on this date.

Cancel Date:  Purchase Order must be received at Goody's DC on or before this date.  * NOTE * Goody's DC is open to receive shipments 24 hours a day and 7 days a week (including holidays and weekends).

Vendors are required to request routing and appointments 48 hours prior to the PO Ship Date.

 


NEW Appointment Procedure!

All vendors must obtain routing and appointments from Triangle Transport via this web site:

This web site will perform a PO verification check to insure that all PO's are in good status before allowing you to complete the pickup request.  Please follow the instructions on this web site to completion.  You will be assigned a dispatch # and an appointment # once you complete and submit the request for pickup.

48 Hour Appointment Procedure

Goody's REQUESTS that Vendors obtain Routing Instructions and an Appointment # a minimum of 48 hours before  the PO Ship Date.   

 


PLEASE NOTE: Failure to properly follow these Appointment Procedures will result in failure to obtain routing for your merchandise!

Prepaid shipments and vendors having difficulty utilizing Triangle's web site for routing can still fax/email a routing request form to the Traffic Department of the appropriate DC.
